Gamer Girl Pin Up Calendar II
While the world keeps turning our team here at the Gamer Girl Pin Up Calendar Headquarters are wrecking their minds to come up with motives and ideas for the upcoming pin up-goodness (more info on the pin up-goodness can be found in this blog entry, so click for your own enlightenment).
High-class models were contacted, famous photographers flewn in and schedules need to be coordinated so that the January-calendar sheet can be presented in *drumroll please* January!
Even though the minds working on this project are geniuses any help is, of course, appreciated. Especially, since this is for you, dear readers. What would you like to see? What wouldn’t you like to see? What hasn’t been done before but needs to be done (except the dishes and laundry)? Fill us in on your most secret and deepest desires and we will try to make them come true.
On another note, I finally had more time to play Topple (Please take a look at the comments. Tobi provided a free and direct link to the iStore where you can download the game. Thank you Tobi!) and while I still highly enjoy it and find it rather addictive controlling the tiles is sometimes a bit frustrating. Rotating them sometimes leads to having more fingers on the screen than actually intended, which leads to more tumbling tiles and to heavy and unintentional tilting. Sometimes, when I tried to grab a tile I had to tap the screen several times to really grab it, which also led to situations that were more stressful than actually needed. Nonetheless, most of these situations actually add to the fun, rather than spoiling it. Juggling two or more tiles simultaneously, tilting skillfully, if such a sequence is mastered and the tiles are still standing – definitely creates a feeling of success.
I also had the chance to play Rolando yesterday and must admit that I couldn’t put it aside for a while. Thankfully, some of the “bigger” levels have checkpoints. In case one or more Rolandos die or the essential spikey Rolando is lost in “combat”, the player can re-start from the checkpoint, as soon as one Rolando has passed it. What I highly enjoyed was the extremely intuitive and easy controls. Yes, sometimes I did tap the screen unintentionally and deselected my Rolandos but this didn’t happen too often and never interferred with the gameplay. I will definitely give it another try but so far I can say that I only felt the urge to put it aside after approx. 10 finished levels.
